I grew up exploring the Green Mountains and although I spent many years living out west, I have always felt at home here in Vermont.

I believe our connection with nature is a powerful thing. The sounds, the smells, and the seasons all play into our experience and how we interact with the great outdoors. It's these experiences that bring us closer to understanding ourselves and our companions, which is why my elopements focus on just that. The experience.

I 'm here to give you the experience of a lifetime. A wedding day off the beaten path - both literally and figuratively. A day unlike any other. A day connecting with each other and with nature. A day filled with so much love and adventure you'll want every day to be your elopement day!

Around every corner in Vermont you'll find a trailhead for hiking, biking and skiing. Winding rivers bring you to swimming holes hidden beneath historical covered bridges. Local farms provide fresh fruits, meats and veggies to several dining establishments and craft breweries. What more could you need?

When to Elope in Vermont

Spring

Winter

Spring in Vermont is a beautiful time of year. We start to see warmer days and cool evenings which heads off maple sugar season! Farmer's markets pick back up and festivals abound. The landscape blossoms with buds and flowers and we begin to see why Vermont is called the Green Mountain State.

Note: April is often coined 'mud season' and not always the best time to be out on trails.

If sparkling snow and icy cliff faces are your thing, if you like to snowboard or ski, if you feel invigorated by the cold winter air - this could be it!

Winter in Vermont is a personal favorite of mine! And a major bonus, when you elope in the off-season, you'll see less crowds and will likely be able to keep a tighter budget.

honestly,

there's magic in every season in the green mountain state. But i'll give you a few pros and cons to help you decide when you should plan your vermont elopement.

Fall

Summer

No surprise here, fall in Vermont is what everyone dreams of. The bright changing colors of New England foliage high on the hills with green pastures that are filled with round hay bales after a bustling harvest season.

Fall in Vermont is very busy, but the weather is perfect (cool temps send the bugs away) and you can avoid crowds by exploring at sunrise and sunset.

And the green grass grows all around...

Summer in Vermont can sometimes be hot and humid. But you'll often find yourself in full shade for hikes and can easily cool off with a stop at one of the hundreds of lakes and rivers throughout the state.

Sure it can get buggy, but if you keep yourself moving - hiking, biking, kayaking - you barely notice it.
